Trump is “not the President” on his OWN fake news show, CNN Anchor Brooke Baldwin said Thursday on “The Lead.”
Baldwin, who joined the network in October, said that “fake news is the new news” and that she didn’t think Trump’s campaign had gotten the memo that they needed to be careful.
“I think people were going to expect it,” Baldwin said.
“They’re not going to be disappointed.”
I don’t think he knew it was coming,” Baldwin continued. “
People are going to think that the President is just trying to do his thing, and he’s not.
I don’t think he knew it was coming,” Baldwin continued.
“We’re going to have a different look at it in the future.
I think we need to get on the train and get off the train, and be honest with ourselves.”
Baldwin added that Trump’s team has to be more careful about the “fake media.”
“If you can’t be honest and have a serious conversation with the American people and be open to people and try to listen to what they have to say, then you have to be prepared for a whole lot of the fake news that’s out there,” Baldwin told “The Situation Room.”
